Nicholas Carter, MSc

Director of Environmental Science, The Game Changers Institute

Nicholas Carter is the Director of Environmental Science at The Game Changers Institute, where he leads research and communication on animal agriculture, industry tactics, and sustainable food system solutions.

As co-founder of IFFS.Earth and PlantBasedData.org, Nicholas has played a key role in advancing science-based understanding of food system transformation and its impact on planetary health. He has lectured at Yale and Harvard, and participated in expert panels alongside researchers from the University of Oxford and the Center for Biological Diversity.

Nicholas is the lead author of multiple reports on methane emissions and disinformation in agriculture, including The New Merchants of Doubt. His work has informed climate adaptation initiatives and planetary crisis simulations, and he is frequently featured across international media and podcasts.

He serves on the advisory boards of Eco Cooks Club and Allied Scholars for Animal Protection, and holds a Master’s in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University.
