Dr Lisa Pörtner

Researcher, Climate Change and Health Working Group, Institute of Public Health, Charité at Universitätsmedizin Berlin

Dr Lisa Pörtner is a medical doctor specialising in internal medicine, geriatrics, and nutritional medicine, with over nine years of clinical experience. She is currently a researcher within the Climate Change and Health Working Group at Charité at Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, where her work focuses on healthy and sustainable diets, particularly within healthcare institutions.

Beyond her research, Lisa has been actively involved in the environmental and climate movement for more than a decade. From 2022 to 2024, she served as a research associate at the German Alliance on Climate Change and Health, where she established and advanced the field of Nutrition and Planetary Health.
