Dr Jennifer Trilk, PhD, FACSM, DipACLM

Dr Trilk is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, where she directs the Lifestyle Medicine and Exercise is Medicine Greenville programmes. Her work focuses on equipping future physicians with essential skills in nutrition, exercise, behaviour change, and chronic disease prevention.
She is the founder of Exercise is Medicine Greenville®, a 12-week clinical lifestyle programme recognised with the American College of Sports Medicine’s Global Leadership Award. As the lead of LMEd, a global open-access lifestyle medicine curriculum, Dr Trilk has received two awards from the U.S. President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition for her contributions to preventive health education.
An internationally recognised expert and speaker, Dr Trilk has presented at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food is Medicine Summit, Capitol Hill, and the Bipartisan Policy Center. Her work has been featured by CNN, The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, and other leading outlets.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), and the Aspen Global Health Innovators Fellowship, and serves as an advisory board member for the Physicians’ Association for Nutrition (Germany).
