About the Role

PAN is building a global network of health professionals eager to make nutrition a core part of healthcare and to actively change food environments. As a Medical Content Executive, you will be part of a team responsible for researching the latest nutritional science and current “hot topics” and converting them into materials, such as blog posts, downloadable pdfs, toolkits, whitepapers, leaflets and presentations.

Along with researching and creating materials yourself, you will be responsible for facilitating the adaption of medical content for international publication across the PAN worldwide network. You will identify, priortize and manage the process of translation and adaptation of medical content created by and for national branches. You will ensure smooth feedback loops and that quality standards are met.

PAN consists of a team of highly dedicated and intrinsically motivated staff and volunteers. As a growing nonprofit start-up, we constantly evolve and create new working fields to advance our mission. As part of our core team, you will be given the opportunity to develop ideas from the start and take meaningful and diverse projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality content and research respective facts & figures based on existing nutritional and medical research, including (but not limited to):
    • Blog posts
    • Online courses
    • Presentations
    • Website content & materials (e.g. toolkits, whitepapers, leaflets, brochures, downloadables)
    • Social media content
    • Opinion papers
  • Manage the process of adaptation & internationalisation of existing content created within the PAN network
  • Collaborate closely with medical content creators from our international branches to identify synergies and opportunities for content localisation
  • Evaluate further opportunities and cooperations to make nutrition a core part of medical training worldwide
  • Adapt existing content to new formats and for new target audiences
    Perform other project-related work

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in nutritional science (preferably PhD) or MD with strong nutritional research background
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Innate ability to simplify complex medical topics and present information in an easy-to-understand way that is appropriate for various target audiences
  • Ability to manage communication between multiple stakeholders
  • Strong commitment to our values and mission, and high intrinsic motivation
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to gather and analyze a variety of information to develop appropriate recommendations for action
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English (German language is a plus)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year professional experience in systematic, scientific content planning, design, production and evaluation in all major digital formats (especially in the field of nutrition and nutritional medicine)
  • Good teaching skills (especially in the field of nutrition and nutritional medicine) and knowledge of teaching / learning methodology
  • Ability to present complex topics in an easy-to-digest structure for a variety of formats (blog articles, podcasts, videos, social media)
  • Ability to adapt content and your writing style to different target groups including medical professionals and the general public

About the Role

PAN is building a global network of health professionals eager to make nutrition a core part of healthcare and to actively change food environments. Social media, email marketing and our website are essential platforms to spread this information and connect with our growing international community of like-minded medical students and health professionals.

As PAN’s Social Media Manager you will be responsible for presenting the organisation as a reliable, go-to resource for evidence-based nutrition information. You will make decisions on how best to reach various target audiences including healthcare professionals, the general public, policy-makers and members of the press.

You will schedule, prepare and publish engaging and relevant content for PAN’s various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. You will design great visuals and write inspirational and accurate texts that delight our social media followers. You will also be in charge of the monthly newsletters and other email marketing campaigns.

You will work closely with the medical content team to share science-based nutrition content that they produce, and you will coordinate promotional campaigns for events, our online courses (i.e. PAN Academy) and other projects and news.

We’re looking for an individual who knows what great marketing content looks like. You instinctively understand how to nurture engagement and how to reflect PAN’s mission and value through well-presented content and campaigns. You are not afraid to experiment with formats and you bring creative ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage PAN’s public image and posting schedule across our social media portfolio
  • Create engaging and relevant content that is tailored towards each marketing channel and in formats that nurture the growth of the community
  • Regularly promote our online learning content (i.e. PAN Academy courses, webinars, and other educational resources)
  • Coordinate campaigns and collaborations with social media teams representing our international branches and student groups
  • Grow our newsletter audience and develop email marketing strategies
  • Monitor and analyse content peformance and give recommendations for improvements and new formats that drive engagement
  • Ensure all PAN public profiles reflect our brand identity and maintain a professional and science-based approach to nutrition and medical information
  • Contribute ideas for the development of our social media profiles and marketing strategies

Tasks

  • Plan and coordinate the editorial calendar and posting schedule across PAN’s social media profiles
  • Design & prepare social media content (texts and images) for various formats on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Coordinate with volunteers and international social media teams who create and post content on behalf of PAN around the world
  • Plan and write our monthly newsletter and special email marketing campaigns
  • Schedule or publish posts according to the editorial calendar
  • Write great copy that reflects our mission and is free from spelling and grammar errors
  • Conduct other marketing activities when appropriate (i.e. respond to journalists, prepare and distribute press releases)

About the Role

PAN is building a global network of health professionals eager to make nutrition a core part of healthcare and to actively change food environments. Reaching our goals – eliminating diet-related deaths globally – depends largely on the capacity, liveliness and dedication of this network.

PAN strives to establish groups of motivated medical students at universities around the globe to act as our spokespersons at the very heart of medical training. We empower them to spread our message at campus by conducting events and executing projects.

As Community Coordinator you will be responsible for strengthening, empowering and growing this network internationally. The focus will be initially on growing student groups internationally, then over time, developing strategies for strengtheing and growing the wider communities of healthcare professionals, general public and other potential community members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboard new community members, offer support, guideance and orientation
  • Onboard, maintain and offboard PAN University Groups (UGs)
  • Ensure the successful roll-out and implementation of international programs, social events and workshops across the community
  • Identify and evaluate the communities’ needs, ideas and challenges
  • Serve as the main contact person for any form of feedback from community members
  • Develop action plans based on community feedback and PAN International strategies
  • Manage information flow from PAN’s management team to our UGs and vice versa
  • Monitor and report progress and measurable goals of UG community
  • Establish, maintain and promote a vibrant community culture with open communication streams
  • Contribute ideas towards our business development & community growth strategies
  • Perform other project-related work
