Becky Ramsing, MPH, RD

Board Member

Becky is a public health nutrition professional with extensive experience in communication, research, programme development, and evaluation across global health and sustainable food systems. She currently serves as a Senior Programme Officer at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Center for a Livable Future, where she works at the intersection of nutrition, food production, public health, and environmental sustainability.

As a registered dietitian, Becky brings deep expertise in chronic disease prevention, obesity, diabetes, physical activity, school health, and HIV/AIDS. Her international work includes significant field experience in East Africa and Afghanistan, supporting programmes that strengthen community health and improve access to nutritious foods.

She also leads the globally recognised Meatless Monday Initiative, promoting population-level dietary shifts that advance both human and planetary health.
