PAN Czech Republic aims to raise awareness of the importance of nutrition for health and for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. In particular, we emphasize the health benefits of a diet based on minimally processed foods that are plant-based (simplified as “whole food plant-based diet”). We provide essential information to other healthcare professionals, the public and policymakers. The Czech Republic branch of the Physicians Association for Nutrition was officially founded in 2020.
