About PAN Czech Republic
PAN Czech Republic aims to raise awareness of the importance of nutrition for health and for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. In particular, we emphasize the health benefits of a diet based on minimally processed foods that are plant-based (simplified as “whole food plant-based diet”). We provide essential information to other healthcare professionals, the public and policymakers. The Czech Republic branch of the Physicians Association for Nutrition was officially founded in 2020.
As the Czech national branch of PAN International, our goals are the following:
To make nutrition education an important part of education at medical faculties.
To support healthcare professionals in the field of nutrition by organising seminars and other educational events.
To develop effective nutrition programmes and resources for patients and healthcare professionals.
To connect healthcare professionals, scientists and students on a global scale.
Creating a global network centred around healthy nutrition requires a wide range of skills. You have the opportunity to participate in a broad range of activities at different levels of commitment according to your availability. Start today!

If you are already a healthcare professional or a student, we will be very happy if you join us.
People with a non-medical background who are significantly involved in the concept of implementing a whole food plant-based diet in health care are also warmly welcome.
